Emergency Response

Motorized (Swiftwater) Rescue Boat Operator

Course Summary

Certified training for incidents on moving water.

We provide comprehensive, hands-on training for rescue boat operators responding to incidents on moving water. This comprehensive course can be easily tailored to the type of watercraft being utilized including jet or propellor, and PWCs.

This course will develop the sense of confidence and necessary skills to operate watercraft at speed in fast-moving water in rivers or flood situations, and to perform rescues of casualties from a boat-based position. Participants receive a certification from Rescue 3 International that is recognized worldwide and is a valuable document in mutual aid situations.

A low student to instructor ratio makes for lots of hands-on practice time for each participant.

The course includes basic skills for self-rescue and the rescue of others, but focuses on watercraft handling, identifying hazards, man-overboard, boat-based victim rescue, and general on-water safety.

We only offer these courses on a private basis (no public courses) to clients who provide their own watercraft. Contact us to set up a course for your personnel.
