Programs

Our programs compliment our technical rescue training, equipment and services by creating opportunities for you to network, develop your professional qualifications and better serve your community.

Technical Rescue Academy

Every year, our Technical Rescue Academy brings together a series of courses for fire fighters, search & rescue volunteers, and industrial ERT personnel looking to gain employment in the emergency response field or expand their operational range.

Training Maintenance

The skills you learn during your course are only as valuable as your ability to recall and utilize them when the need arises in the field - so we offer two different forms of training maintenance that can be taken advantage of on an annual basis.

ProBoard Evaluation

A ProBoard Evaluation tests candidates against the NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications. Raven Rescue hosts these evaluations through a partnership with the District of North Vancouver District Fire and Rescue Services, a ProBoard accredited testing agency in BC.

Flood Legacy Bursary

After the extreme flooding that occured in Alberta in June 2013, Raven Rescue created a Flood Legacy Bursary to assist smaller, volunteer departments and SAR teams obtain the right certification to operate safely during swiftwater and flood incidents.  Our bursary receipts are reguarlarly profiled on our blog.

Youth Program - Oscar Otter

TESTIMONIALS

Ron Alton, President
Prince George Search and Rescue

The Flood Management course has increased my ability to respond to a critical situation, but it has also helped me to anticipate what will be required BEFORE the situation happens.
