Rescue from non-IDLH confined spaces

This 3 day course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a rescue from a non-IDLH (immediately dangerous to life and health) confined space that features complicating hazards other than atmospheric issues - such as internal configuration, scope of work, and access and egress.

1 day classroom, 2 days in confined space simulator or on-site

Participants

Minimum 10. Maximum 12.

Prerequisites
  • 18+ years of age
  • In good physical condition
Price

$625 (includes helmet and harness rental)

Recertification

Repeat the entire course at a 15% discount every three years.

Required Equipment
  • Coveralls or durable clothing
  • Steel-toed work boots
  • Leather palmed gloves (rope glove or work glove)
  • Helmet (included in course fee)
  • Harness (class III or separate chest and sit harness)
